SUNWOLFEach winter, Brackendale, British Columbia, plays host to one of the largest gatherings of bald eagles in North America, and the Sunwolf lodge there offers a daily eagle-viewing float trip down the Cheakamus River through mid-February. The float trip, priced at $100 per adult and $65 per child under age 12, can be combined with overnight accommodations in one of the lodge's 11 riverside cabins for the Where the Eagles Soar package, valid through the same period and priced at $285 per night, based on double occupancy. The eagle-viewing trip includes lunch, use of raingear and safety equipment and the services of a professional river guide.
