Hawaii Funjet launches 'Aloha' campaign for agents By Shane Nelson / September 26, 2011 Share 1 -- Funjet Vacations launched a Hawaii-focused “Say Aloha to Life Between the Beaches” campaign Sept. 21, offering agents a range of resources and increased earnings opportunities through its VAX Vacation Access portal. “The goal of this campaign is to enhance the Hawaii selling experience from start to finish,” Tracy Clementi, Funjet Vacations’ marketing manager, said in a statement. “The campaign aims to not only give agents a one-stop resource for everything Hawaii but also a way to earn more money on this important destination.” Along with a detailed listing of current specials at Hawaii resorts and hotels, agents can access the site’s marketing tools, including e-postcards, e-mailers, flyers, and Web banners, to spread the word about Aloha State offers. The Funjet VAX page also features five different marketing design options geared specifically to each of the destination’s major islands: Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island and a combined approach for Molokai and Lanai. Through October 20, agents enrolled in the Fun for Life Funjet Vacations Rewards Program can earn $15 cash incentives on each reservation booked for travel before April 30 at participating Hawaii hotels. Agents can earn $30 per reservation when the Funjet Complete Coverage travel protection is added and $40 when combined with the American Airlines Funjet incentive. The tour operator’s VAX portal also features destination content organized by island, including insider tips, itineraries, arts and culture options, romantic escapes, family activities and off-the-beaten-path suggestions. “It’s our hope that agents use these tools to not only identify and market offers but provide their clients with that extra bit of destination information that will make their vacation truly unforgettable,” Clementi said.
