Gourmands headed for Maui early next month won’t want to miss the Kapalua Wine & Food festival, scheduled for June 6 to 9.
Celebrating its 32nd year, the weekend event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and features well-known chefs and sommeliers from the U.S. mainland along with local Maui culinary stars in a schedule of interactive cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and the chance to sample spirits and craft beers along with dishes made from Maui seafood and produce.
Headliners include San Francisco’s James Beard Award-winning chef Nancy Oakes and chef Gary Danko with wine seminars and tastings arranged by master sommeliers Michael Jordon and Chuck Furuya.
