Hawaii Mauna Kea names new hotel manager By Shane Nelson / November 09, 2015 Share 1 -- The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, located on the western Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, has named Kansas Henderson its new hotel manager. Kansas Henderson Henderson worked most recently as the as assistant director of rooms at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Kaupulehu on the Big Island. Previously, he helped open the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto in 2005, holding a number of positions at the property in subsequent years. “Having a strong leader like Kansas is crucial in our effort to elevate the Mauna Kea brand and further improve guest experiences,” said Craig Anderson, the vice president of operations at the Mauna Kea resort. Prince Resorts Hawaii manages the 252-room Mauna Kea Beach Hotel along with the neighboring Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel & Golf Course and The Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki & Golf Club on Oahu.
