Hawaii New G.M. named at Waikiki’s Hilton Hawaiian Village By Shane Nelson / June 18, 2012 Share 1 -- Hilton Worldwide has announced that Tracy Walker will take over as general manager at the company’s largest hotel, the 2,860-room Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, effective June 11. “I am thrilled to welcome Tracy to our team in Hawaii,” Jerry Gibson, area vice president and managing director for Hilton Worldwide, said in a statement. “Tracy is highly respected in the industry, and we look forward to her tremendous enthusiasm and leadership.” A 24-year veteran of the hotel business, Walker has worked for Hilton Worldwide since 2002 and most recently served as G.M. at the company’s Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek property. She was also G.M. at the Hilton Newark Airport and spent time at the Hilton Chicago, the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and with Wyndham Hotels.
