Aston Hotels & Resorts has named Kaniela Neves the new general manager of the Aston Islander on the Beach hotel in Kapaa on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
Responsible for daily operations at the 198-room beachfront property, Neves is taking over for Sandi Kato-Klutke, who retired earlier this month.
Neves most recently worked as the general manager of the Sherwood Valley Rancheria Casino in Willits, Calif., and previously served as the executive director of the Sherwood Valley Gaming Commission.
Honolulu-based Aston Hotels & Resorts manages approximately 4,000 hotel rooms, condominium suites, villas and cottage units at 26 properties on the four major Hawaiian Islands; South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and Lake Las Vegas, Nev.
