Hawaii Ohana by Hawaiian flights to begin in March By Shane Nelson / February 17, 2014 Share 1 -- Ohana by Hawaiian, the turboprop subsidiary of Hawaiian Airlines, will begin service between Honolulu Airport and the neighbor islands of Lanai and Molokai in March. The interisland carrier will begin thrice-daily nonstop service between Molokai and Honolulu Airport March 12. Ohana will debut twice-daily nonstop flights between Oahu and the Lanai Airport on March 18. The carrier will operate the new service with 48-passenger ATR-42 aircraft. According to airline officials, the new venture has created more than 100 Hawaii-based jobs.
