Hawaii Renovations complete at two Kohala Coast resorts on Big Isle By Shane Nelson / December 02, 2013 Share 1 -- Work on multimillion-dollar renovation projects at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel wrapped up in November. The two properties are neighbors on the Big Island of Hawaii’s western Kohala Coast and managed by Prince Resorts Hawaii. Guestrooms at both properties underwent significant upgrades, including technology enhancements like 55-inch wall-mounted HDTVs at the 350-room Hapuna Beach Prince along with new furniture, bedding and carpets. The Hapuna Beach Prince also received a pool deck overhaul and new lounge furniture while its lobby and three property restaurants were also renovated.
