Hawaii Roberts Hawaii takes over Maui Airport shuttle service By Shane Nelson / August 05, 2013 Share 1 -- Roberts Hawaii has taken over management of the on-demand shuttle service contract at the Kahului Airport in Maui effective Aug. 1. Replacing SpeediShuttle, Roberts is now the exclusive provider of curbside one-way or roundtrip transportation between the Kahului Airport and a range of hotel and resort properties in central, south and west Maui, according to a statement issued by Roberts officials July 30. Available seven days a week, with hours of operation based on the Kahului Airport flight arrival and departure schedule, the Roberts shuttle service does not require advance reservations, and arriving travelers can arrange rides at the Roberts Hawaii kiosk located near the baggage claim in the airport’s main terminal. Roberts Hawaii lost a similar exclusive contract to provide on-demand, curbside shuttle service at the Honolulu Airport to Maui-based SpeediShuttle in 2011.
