Hawaii Sheraton Maui offers whale-watching package By Tovin Lapan / November 10, 2017 Share 1 -- Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa has introduced a new seasonal package to help guests get the most of out of the winter whale-watching season.The "Dive into Maui" deal features ocean front accommodations in the resort's Hale Moana building, which sits on Puu Kekaa (Black Rock), a viewing spot for watching humpback whales traverse the Maui Nui Basin. The package also comes with snorkel gear for two for one day, two pairs of binoculars for the duration of the stay, and a Hawaii-style s'mores kit including macadamia nuts, sweet coconut flakes and sliced pineapple. For the snorkeling session, guests are also provided with fish identification cards that can be taken in the water and receive an educational talk on property led by Maui Ocean Center marine naturalists. The deal also includes two tickets to visit the Maui Ocean Center. The offer starts at $575 per night with a three-night minimum stay, and is available for stays from Jan. 3 to April 15.
