Location and History
At Tower City Center, filling a stately, E-shaped landmark of 14 stories, this hotel at one time was one of the world's largest. The unique design allows for natural lighting as well as views overlooking the city on the Superior Avenue side.
Built in 1918, this classic, gray brick structure displays the exquisite workmanship and architectural detail of an earlier era. Built with the kind of care that created the Waldorf Astoria in New York's Midtown, the regal public spaces are some of the most noteworthy in the Midwest.
