Location and History
This historic and stately hotel is located right on Douglas Bay, overlooking the pedestrian promenade, seaside road and beach. It's in the middle of the bay, close to town. The ferry terminal is a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk away.
Built in the late 1890s, it has served as an important hotel at Isle of Man ever since. In 2018, the hotel was completely renovated into a fresh contemporary style, while keeping a few historic interiors and throwbacks.
