It was in this building in 1815 that Major Henry Percy brought the Prime Minister the first announcement of Wellington's victory at Waterloo and the defeat of Napoleon.
Overlooking the attractive Grosvenor square gardens, this 18th-century brick and stone building has been restructured a number of times but retains its Georgian exterior with Corinthian columns.
