'Best part' of Frommer's: the blank pages in back

My first trip to Europe was in 1963 when I was a stewardess with Northwest Orient Airlines. I was 21 years old and traveled for three weeks with three other "stews."

We also traveled with Frommer's "Europe on 5 Dollars a Day," and we, too, expanded our budget to $10 a day.

The best part is that I used the blank pages in the back to keep informal notes of our day-to-day activities. I recently found my copy, and what fun it was to read my notes almost 50 years later.
