Computer-chip credit cards now have made their way into Canada

In response to your recent article on computer chips within credit cards vs. the magnetic strip ["The great card gap," Oct. 3], I can report that it is not just Europe where this is taking place. I recently returned from a trip to the Canadian Rockies, and there are stores there that now require a PIN number and a card using such a chip. It is closer to home than we might think.
