With an eye on the family travel market, Palace Resorts launched its new Family Connections program for the summer travel season.
The program, available for booking beginning May 15 for travel from June 1 to Aug. 31, is being offered at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort and Beach Place, both in Cancun; Cozumel Palace in Cozumel; and Playacar Palace in Playa del Carmen.
Family Connections features the new Connection Zone kids’ club for ages 4 to 12. New games and entertainment include tennis lessons, mini-golf, Spanish lessons, board games, piñata-making and treasure hunts. Educational activities include beach cleanup, tree planting and sea turtle release (during season). New menus have kid-friendly options.
Walkie-talkies will enable poolside parents to speak with their kids at any time they are under the supervision of the club staff.
In addition, the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort and Beach Palace added new family suites with nanny services. The 49 suites at Moon Palace and the 20 units at Beach Palace offer connecting rooms, accommodating up to six people. Complimentary childcare services are provided for up to two kids for three hours a day.
