Los Cabos welcomes several new hotel properties as it gears up for the upcoming winter season.
Joining the accommodations roster on Dec. 15 will be the 66-room Hotel El Ganzo, a member of Preferred Boutique Hotels.
El Ganzo, located at the marina in Puerto Los Cabos, targets the adult market (no kids under 16 are allowed), is not an all-inclusive property and will feature a sushi fusion restaurant, an organic seafood restaurant, a vodka bar and a rooftop nightclub, in addition to watersports and activities.

Diamante Cabos San Lucas, a 1,500-acre private oceanfront community, is constructing an 11-acre swimmable saltwater lagoon.
Surrounding the lagoon will be multiple two- and four-bedroom villas and private beach cabanas.
An opening date has not been set.
Opening in 2013 are the 500-suite Secrets Puerto Los Cabos, which will offer eight gourmet restaurants and a 12,000-square-foot spa, and the 157-room Hotel Hyatt Palace, geared to the business market.
On the drawing board for 2014 is the Ritz-Carton Los Cabos, a single-story property with 124 oceanfront villas; 2015 will bring the JW Marriott Los Cabos, a 300-room luxury resort overlooking the Sea of Cortes, seven miles from Los Cabos Airport.
