Mexico Real Resorts adds wedding options By Gay Nagle Myers / December 18, 2012 Share 1 -- Real Resorts aded three options to its selection of destination wedding programs at the Royal in Cancun and the Royal in Playa del Carmen as well as the Gran Caribe Real Cancun and the Gran Porto Real in Playa del Carmen. Jewish wedding celebrations now are available for contemporary, traditional, orthodox or interfaith Jewish ceremonies. Each wedding is presided over by a reformed English-speaking rabbi. Price for the rabbi's services starts at $1,200 per ceremony and can be added to any of the resorts' wedding packages, starting with the Classic Wedding, priced from $1,050 for up to 20 guests. If the couple is spending more than $4,000 on the wedding package, the rabbi's services are free of charge. The Mexican wedding package features traditional Mexican decorations, background music, a margarita cocktail toast, a signature wedding cake for up to 30 guests, a three-hour reception and breakfast in bed the next morning for the newly-marrieds. This is priced from $1,600. The royal Catholic wedding package is offered at Our Lady of Guadelupe Chapel in Cancun and at Our Lady of Carmen Chapel in Playa del Carmen. The ceremony includes the services of a bilingual Catholic pries and a Catholic certificate of marriage issued in Spanish. The wedding includes a reception for up to 30 guests and is priced from $1,995 for up to 30 guests. Vow renewals are complimentary on bookings of five or more nights in a master or presidential suite. If the couple has a minimum of five guests staying a minimum of five nights each in an oceaview or higher category suite, the ceremony is free of charge. A reception for up to 20 guests is priced from $499. Guests who celebrate their marriage at a Real resort receive a complimentary vow renewal package on their first anniversary.
