Goway joins the fight against rhino poaching

White RhinoToronto-based tour operator Goway has partnered with the Wildlands Conservation Trust to protect South Africa’s rhinos.

Until June 30, the Africa specialist will donate $20 to the nonprofit organization for every booking made featuring one of their preferred game lodge.

Rhino poaching in South Africa has reached epidemic proportions, with some 588 rhinos killed in 2012.

The funds will be used to buy equipment for anti-poaching units, to upgrade skills and maintain informant networks that play a vital role in tips as to when poaching is about to occur, as well as funding education and awareness programs in schools and communities.
