This week, Travel Weekly heads to Fort Lauderdale for our annual CruiseWorld & Home Based Agent Show Nov. 7 to 10. Nearly 1,000 travel agents will participate in three days of training and educational sessions, jam packed general sessions and two days of trade show exhibits with nearly 200 leading industry suppliers.
A roster of ship inspections, sponsored by ARC, will welcome attendees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to tour and explore ships including the Celebrity Infinity, Emerald Princess, Ruby Princess, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom, Holland America Eurodam, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Pearl, Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas and Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas.
The event will welcome speakers from all aspects of leisure travel, including executives from cruise lines, tour operators, hotel companies, destination marketing organizations, host agencies and a roster of successful entrepreneurs who have built smart travel agency businesses.
The event has attracted top sponsorships from leading suppliers, with special note to Discover Card as the official card company; Avis as the official car rental company; and ARC as the official ship inspection sponsor.
