Travel Weekly trade show offers ship inspections

CruiseWorld and Home Based Agent ShowDid you make a commitment to complete your CLIA requirements in 2012? If so, Travel Weekly’s CruiseWorld & Home Based Agent Show is your last opportunity in 2012 to complete three ship inspections and earn up to 45 CLIA credits while attending a single, jam-packed learning and networking event.

Travel Weekly returns to Fort Lauderdale for CruiseWorld & Home Based Agent Show, Nov. 7 to 10, with a full roster of ship inspections, conference programming, a vibrant trade show and networking opportunities. 

Two of CLIA’s newest classes will be part of the curriculum. CLIA’s new “Specialty Cruising” class (a 15-credit, three-hour immersion) will be offered on Nov. 7, and CLIA’s new 10-credit class, “Personal Branding: How to Become the Travel Agent Everyone Wants” will be offered on Nov. 8. Also that day, CLIA will offer the 10-credit “Professional Selling Skills” and on Nov. 9, the 10-credit “Selling Successfully Across Cultures.”

Ship inspection registrations are open and are limited to three per attendee. A dozen ship inspections will be offered, including: Nov. 7, the Celebrity Infinity and the Emerald Princess; Nov. 9, the Carnival Valor, the Carnival Liberty, the Caribbean Princess, the Holland America Eurodam, the Norwegian Epic and the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas; and Nov. 10, the Carnival Freedom, the Norwegian Pearl, the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas and the Ruby Princess. ARC is the official sponsor of all 12 ship inspections.
