TravelAge West relaunches site

TravelAge West homepageTravelAge West, a sister publication of Travel Weekly, relaunched TravelAgeWest.com with streamlined navigation, vivid imagery and responsive design, which enables users to easily view the site and all its features on a laptop, tablet or mobile device.

The redesigned site also includes a hotel search, with 140,000 properties, and a cruise search, with 18,000 sailings, 360 ships and 90 cruise lines.

The site is devoted to "inspiring and informing travel agents" through articles about destinations, cruising, hotels, adventure travel, family travel, agent incentives and more.

"The magazine's firsthand, on-site reports and fresh destination coverage are a valued resource for travel agents," said Kenneth Shapiro, editor in chief of TravelAge West. "The new site does a great job of highlighting this award-winning coverage in a vibrant and engaging way."

Changes to TravelAge West's popular Geo Quiz included an interactive tool that enables visitors to track and tweet their scores. The Click & Win contest has also been redesigned.

Publisher Jack Grant said, "For more than 40 years, TravelAge West has been the trusted voice of the travel industry in the Western U.S. With our award-winning writing and design, our revamped website brings the best of travel to life for our readers."
