Forever Resorts has launched the Colorado River Exploration Tour.
The tour begins with a ride from the Las Vegas Strip to Eldorado Canyon and one hour exploring its historical Techatticup Mine. Following this introduction to Nevada’s mining history, visitors board a motorized raft at Nelson’s Landing for a ride to Willow Beach Marina, where they learn about the geology, wildlife, history and culture of the Colorado River. Lunch is served during a stop on a beach along the river. From Willow Beach, those on the tour will stop at Hoover Dam before returning to the Strip.
The Colorado River Exploration Tour is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays through Feb. 28 and seven days a week from March 1 through Nov. 30. The price is $199 per person.
