Doo-Wopp Hall Of Fame of America to premiere at the Venetian

The Doo-Wopp Hall of Fame of America will be making its Las Vegas premiere at the Venetian resort-casino this spring.

A five-act concert featuring Hall of Fame inductees from the 1950s and early 1960s will play in the Venetian Showroom April 23 through 24.

The first concert will feature Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners ("Since I Don't Have You", "Pennies from Heaven" and "This I Swear"); The Marcels ("Blue Moon" and "Heartaches"); The Legacy of Clyde McPhatter and The Drifters with son Ron McPhatter ("Money Honey", "Treasure of Love", "A Lover's Question"); George Galfo's Mystics ("Hushabye"); and The Royalty of Rock 'n Roll All-Stars featuring Billy Davis.

The show will run for 90 minutes and begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $62.50 and $49.50, exclusive of tax and service fees. VIP tickets, which include a meet and greet with the artists, are $100. Tickets can be purchased at any Venetian box office, online at www.venetian.com and by calling (702) 414-9000.
