Scheduled to open early next year and billed as the world’s first "luxury gun lounge," Machine Guns Vegas will offer guests the chance to shoot a variety of firearms, from modern machine guns and assault rifles to some of the most famous firearms from World War II.

Guests will be matched with a shooting host who will use interactive, multimedia displays to showcase each of the shooting experiences offered. From there, guests can fire a range of firearms, from those used by the U.S. Navy’s Seal Team Six during their raid of Osama Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan to World War II-era firearms found in video games like Call of Duty.

Throughout the facility there will be film clips of popular firearms in use, including an M60 machine gun used in the Rambo movies or the .50-caliber Desert Eagle handgun fired by Bullet Tooth Tony in “Snatch.” Machine Guns Vegas will also have the world’s first “gun lounge” for celebrities and groups, including two private firing lanes, a private waiting lounge with plasma TVs, iMacs, complimentary refreshments and a separate entrance. No alcohol will be served on the premises.

“Machine Guns Vegas combines exotic firearms with world-class service and amenities for a safe yet exhilarating experience that’s unique and inviting,” Machine Guns Vegas managing partner Genghis Cohen, a former officer in the Royal New Zealand Army and Las Vegas nightlife industry veteran, said in a statement. “MGV will offer something for everyone, from the firearms enthusiast to the first-timer who wants to feel the thrill of firing these powerful weapons.”

Located just minutes from the Strip, the 10,000-square-foot facility will feature 16 shooting lanes, where guests can securely test their skills with a vast selection of machine guns, handguns and other firearms. It will offer bachelor and bachelorette packages as well as a retail section with gifts, including a handbag with built-in concealed carry holster and customized limited-edition firearms engraved with the customer’s name and fitted to each individual.

“MGV was created to fill a void in the Las Vegas tourist market,” Cohen said. “It was obvious there was a need for a customer service-oriented firearms experience in Las Vegas with unique, select offerings for celebrities and high-net-worth individuals as part of the facility.”

Machine Guns Vegas is located at 3501 Aldebaran Ave. and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those interested in more information can log on to www.machinegunsvegas.com.
