Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer luxury train has a new destination on its First Passage to the West route: Lake Louise, Alberta.
The stop marks the return of passenger rail service to Lake Louise for the first time in more than two decades and is a first for the Rocky Mountaineer. The stop will be offered on select departures during the 2013 season from April 23 to Oct. 3.
Guest can begin or end their travels in Lake Louise. Those who stay at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise will get free transfers between the hotel and train station.
