By Bill Poling
The U.S. Travel Association said attendance at its annual IPW show in Chicago last week topped the 6,200 mark and included some 1,400 travel buyers, the highest since 2001.

The China delegation consisted of a record-setting 109 attendees.

The event, which showcases U.S. destinations and travel products for foreign operators, wholesalers and agents, facilitated more than 95,000 buyer-supplier meetings, expected to account for 8.8 million additional international visitors to the U.S. over the next three years.
