CroisiEurope has relaunched the 106-passenger Douce France
II, which has been transformed into what the company designates as a premium-class
ship.
Following the redesign, the Rhine River ship now features
more open spaces and natural light, and has been outfitted in a contemporary
design aesthetic. The public spaces include a bar and lounge with a dance
floor, a restaurant, a boutique and a sun deck with lounge chairs.
The ship measures 361 feet in length and is 36 feet wide.
There are four single-occupancy cabins at 108 square feet, two suites at 248
square feet and the remaining cabins, including one designed for passengers
with reduced mobility, at 161 square feet.
The Douce France II features more open spaces and natural light.
All staterooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen television,
and all upper-deck cabins feature French balconies.
The Douce France II, which launched in 1997, will sail four-
to seven-day itineraries along the Moselle, Main, and Rhine rivers.
