G Adventures has begun offering Amazon cruises on a larger riverboat, the 32-passenger Queen Violet.

The company said that the Queen Violet’s capacity is 30% larger than the Arapaima, the vessel G Adventures previously offered for Amazon cruises.

The Queen Violet has 16 cabins that are all outside-facing and designed for viewing the wildlife and villages along the river.

G Adventures’ nine-day Amazon trips, offered from May to January, include a six-day cruise and transfer flights between Lima and Iquitos, Peru.
