Earthquake hits Costa Rica

A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, 95 miles west of the capital of San Jose on Wednesday morning.

Hotel guests were evacuated safely in San Jose, according to CNN. 

A tsunami warning that previously had been issued for Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama has been lifted.
