tors bureau is expected to wax positive concerning his destination’s tourist attractions, activities and accommodations.
Throw a beach location into the mix, and it ups the superlatives.
In a follow-up phone call about Greater Miami’s record-breaking visitor numbers in 2011, William Talbert, CEO and president of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, did his city proud.
With the sound of seagulls overhead and gentle waves breaking below, Talbert reported that he was calling TC “while wading in the surf.”
“We have beautiful beaches here,” he added. “Come on down.”
