AA to launch Roatan flight

American Airlines will begin Saturday-only service between Miami and Roatan, Honduras, on Nov. 17, using a two-class Boeing 737 seating 160.

Oneworld member American will compete on the route with TACA Airlines, which joined the Star Alliance this year.

Roatan is American’s third destination in Honduras. From Miami, the airline also serves Tegucigalpa with seven flights per week and San Pedro Sula with 13 per week.
