Aeromexico will launch two weekly flights June 20 between Las Vegas and Puerto Penasco/Hermosillo in the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora.
The roundtrip flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays using 50-seat Embraer 145 aircraft.
Hermosillo, capital of Sonora, is one of the largest cities in Mexico, with a population of 850,000. The city is modern, encircled by hiking trails and bike paths and is 60 miles from the Sea of Cortes.
Puerto Penasco, 60 miles from the Arizona border, is a seaside resort city.
