AirTran adds seasonal Mexico routes

AirTran will launch seasonal service to Cancun, Los Cabos and Mexico City this spring.

Daily roundtrips between Denver and Cancun will operate April 16 through July 7. The flights will run four times a week from July 8 through Aug. 12, and weekend service runs Aug. 13 through Sept. 28.

Four weekly roundtrips between Austin, Texas, and Cancun will operate from May 25 through Aug. 31 and go to three times a week from Sept 1. to 28.

On June 3, the carrier will launch service between Orange County, Calif., and both Cabo San Lucas and Mexico City. The routes will run through Sept. 28. 

AirTran’s previously announced Mexico service from San Antonio to Cancun and San Antonio to Mexico City starts May 24.

New domestic service from Houston Hobby to San Antonio and Austin begins May 24 and 25, respectively. Both services run through Sept. 28.
