Alaska starts codesharing with Fiji carrier

By Jerry Limone

Alaska Airlines and Fiji-based Air Pacific have entered a codeshare deal that enables Air Pacific to tap into the Vancouver market.

Air Pacific customers can now book Alaska-operated flights between Vancouver and Los Angeles under an Air Pacific flight number at AirPacific.com.

Air Pacific operates Boeing 747 service between Los Angeles and Fiji four days a week.

Boarding passes will be issued at check-in for both flights, and baggage will be through-checked to the final destination.
