American's A321 jet enters service for JFK-LAX

By Kate Rice
American Airlines' new Airbus A321 transcontinental aircraft began flying between New York and Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The airline will introduce the new plane on the New York-San Francisco route in March.

AA offers three classes of service on the A321, with lie-flat seats in first and business classes.

For all customers, every seat offers a personal in-seat entertainment system with movies, TV programs, music and games.

Air-to-ground Wi-Fi technology is available throughout the aircraft, and each seat on the A321 features a universal AC power port and a USB port.

An espresso and cappuccino machine is available for first-class customers.
