British Airways' North and South Terminals at Gatwick Airport are undergoing a nearly $1.5 billion upgrade designed to increase traffic and improve check-in and accessibility.
Also new is an iPhone app that enables Executive Club members on short-haul flights to use the new Mobile Boarding Passes on their phones, which can be scanned at check-in. A version for Android and BlackBerry users also is available.
