Delta informed agency clients that it has completed the worldwide rollout of premium economy seat sales with Travelport GDS.
The carrier in April began selling the Economy Comfort product through Travelport-enabled points of sale in the United States and Canada, and since has expanded availability to nearly 150 countries, including all key corporate travel points of sale across every region.
Travelport earlier this month announced a new "long-term" distribution agreement with Delta, which the GDS operator expected to include "greater access to Delta's merchandising products and services."
In an agency FAQ, Delta indicated that "other Delta ancillary products" are not in the pipeline for availability through Travelport. "Additional ancillary products may be considered in the future," according to Delta. Source: Business Travel News
