Delta to launch Atlanta-Exuma service

By Gay Nagle Myers

Delta will launch twice-weekly, year-round flights between Atlanta and Exuma in the Bahamas on June 13.

The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Promotional fares start at $129 each way, based on a roundtrip purchase. Taxes and fees are extra. Tickets must be purchased by March 22 for travel through Aug. 29.

More than 25 resorts throughout the Bahamas, including four in Exuma, offer specials on air-land packages that include free companion air when four or more nights are booked for travel from May 2 through 27.

The Exuma resorts include Sandals Emerald Bay, Grand Isle Resort & Spa and Royal Plantation Island at Fowl Cay.
