JetBlue has launched service to Grand Cayman and will begin flying to Samana, Dominican Republic, on Nov. 17.

Grand Cayman service from New York Kennedy operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Boston-Grand Cayman service operates on Saturdays only.

Cayman Airways also flies between Grand Cayman and New York. United operates Newark-Grand Cayman service.

JetBlue said it is the only airline flying to Samana from the U.S. Service from New York Kennedy operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Samana is JetBlue’s sixth destination in the Dominican Republic. No other carrier operates as many flights into and out of that Caribbean country than JetBlue, the airline said.
