KEY WEST -- A $4.1 million renovation of the terminal at Key West
International Airport will be completed by early summer.
Improved will be the ticket counter area, car rental and
restaurant facilities. An adjoining building, the Adam Arnold
Annex, contains a Greyhound bus station and soon will house a
National Weather Service office in addition. Greyhound serves the
airport from the Miami Amtrak station and Miami Airport.
Five airlines provide service to and from Key West, linking it
with points such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Naples and Tampa. The
airlines are Cape Air, American Eagle, Comair (Delta Connection),
Gulfstream (Continental Connection) and US Airways Express.
Marathon Airport, about 50 miles north of Key West, is served by
American Eagle.
