OpenSkies, a transatlantic subsidiary of British Airways that flies between Newark and Paris Orly, is adding an economy cabin to its planes.
Beginning June 19, OpenSkies will have a three-class configuration on one of its Boeing 757s. There will be 66 leather seats in economy, 28 seats in a premium plus cabin and 20 lie-flat seats in business class.
The airline’s other 757 will have three classes of service starting June 29.
Passengers in economy receive use of iPads for the flight and get access to British Airways’ check-in for business class at Newark.
A flight search on OpenSkies’ website for June 23 showed one-way fares of $637.70 for economy, $1,059.70 for premium plus and $2,441.70 for business.
