Seaborne Airlines will launch service from San Juan to Guadeloupe and Martinique on June 1. The flights originally were slated to begin in April.

The schedule calls for four weekly roundtrips to each island on 34-seat Saab turboprops with inflight service.

The carrier, which recently launched its first interline agreement with a major carrier, American Airlines, has relocated to Gate 18 in Terminal D in San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin Airport.

The check-in counter is close to the AA counter. Seaborne flights are displayed and sold on AA.com as part of the interline arrangement.

Seaborne plans to issue boarding passes on American flights in the near future.
