Seaborne Airlines will launch two daily flights between San Juan and Beef Island in the British Virgin Islands on Oct. 1.

The St. Croix-based carrier plans to expand its fleet in 2013 to include the 34-passenger Saab 340B, which will begin service next March, according to Omer ErSelcuk, president.

Seaborne also will increase service on routes between San Juan, St. Croix, St. Thomas and Vieques, Puerto Rico.
