US Airways adds Mexico and Canada routes

US Airways is adding service to Canada and Mexico this summer from its hubs in Philadelphia and Charlotte.

On May 31, US Airways will begin daily, year-round service between Charlotte and Ottawa. Air Wisconsin will operate the service under the US Airways Express brand with 50-seat Canadair regional jets.

On June 5, US Airways will commence year-round service between Charlotte and both Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, Mexico. US Airways will operate each route five days per week on Airbus A319 aircraft seating 124 customers (12 in first class).

US Airways’ first-ever service between Philadelphia and Halifax, Nova Scotia, starts June 1. US Airways Express partner Air Wisconsin will fly the daily, year-round service with 50-seat Canadair jets.
