United Airlines computer outage strands passengers

A computer outage on Thursday morning stranded United Airlines passengers across the U.S.

According to reports, flights could not depart due to the computer malfunction.

On its Twitter page, United posted just before 11 a.m. Eastern that its system was back up and that it was resuming operations for affected flights.

United has now had three computer outages since June.
