Virgin America and Hawaiian ink codeshare pact

By Bill Poling
Virgin America and Hawaiian Airlines unveiled a codeshare and cooperative marketing deal, the first such agreement between Virgin America and another U.S. airline.

Effective Nov. 15, Hawaiian’s HawaiianMiles members can redeem miles on all Virgin America routes, and members of Virgin America's Elevate program have reciprocal privileges on all Hawaiian routes.

Hawaiian is also placing its code on Virgin America flights.
