Six-year-old low-fare airline Volaris recently acquired its 42nd Airbus, giving it a total of 24 A319s and 18 A320s for the 75 domestic and international routes in its network, including Chicago Midway; Denver; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Orlando; Sacramento; San Francisco; and San Diego.

The carrier is based at Toluca Airport near Mexico City and operates flights out of more than 22 destinations in Mexico.
