Canadian airline WestJet has launched daily service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Calgary.

WestJet is a partner of American Airlines, which already flies nonstop between its DFW hub and Calgary.

"Combined, the two airlines offer three roundtrip flights between Calgary and Dallas-Fort Worth, and beyond that, the opportunity to connect to 16 additional cities as part of our codesharing agreement," said Chris Avery, WestJet's vice president of network planning, alliances and corporate development.
