Enterprise Holdings has promoted the company’s president, Pamela Nicholson, to CEO.
She is the first CEO of the car rental company not to be a member of the founding Taylor family, and the third CEO in the company’s 56-year history.
Nicholson replaces Andy Taylor, who had been CEO since 1991. Taylor continues as Enterprise’s executive chairman.
Nicholson, a 32-year veteran of Enterprise, will retain her title of president and continue to oversee Enterprise’s day-to-day operations. The company’s brands include Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car.
